I wanted to post a picture for those of you unsure what I'm talking about when I say that I'm hanging from the yard and furling the sail, and rather than search for a Jamestown-themed picture, here is one of my favorites from Anton Otto Fischer (1911, published in Scribner's). I definitely have a new appreciation for his always-impressive artwork.
